From the start of the 2011 Jacques Vabre, more than 98,000 skippers competed for every position in the world of virtual sailing.
More than 98,000 skippers took part from the start of the
Transat Jacques Vabre on the 30th October.
And thanks to the audacity of the Many Players team the two
best skippers of the virtual prologue were able to compete
in real prologue against the real Transat skippers.
It was the first time in history that sport has met virtual sport in this way and congratulations must be given to the virtual skippers as they exceeded all expectations, even leading during the initial stages of the regatta.
